Bio:
The company was set up in the early 1990s as St Andrews Publishing before morphing into Sports Publications at the end of the decade.
The company's first venture was National Club Golfer magazine, which was initially published in a newspaper format and was distributed to every golf club in Britain.
At the start of the new Millennium, under new owner Peter Burgess, NCG became an A4 glossy magazine. It was also joined by Lady Golfer, also an A4 glossy which is distributed into the ladies' sections of Britain's golf clubs.
Both magazines are edited by Dan Murphy and they are two of the few free publications in Britain to attract advertising from blue chip companies such as Nike and adidas.
www.nationalclubgolfer.com first went live in 2002 and over the next decade progressed into one of the most widely visited golf websites in Britain.
In November 2011, Sports Publications launched a brand-new www.nationalclubgolfer.com website alongside a vigorous and comprehensive marketing campaign
