The Ember is the fine arts magazine of Averett’s student body. It showcases the poetry, prose, essays and visual art of Averett students. The Ember magazine is staffed by members of Averett’s staff and graduate students. Entries are selected by a panel of judges, many of whom are Averett alumni.
