At Vina Robles, we are very proud to offer limited edition wines that represent our finest efforts, both in the vineyard and in the cellar. These wines require considerable investment in every phase of the winemaking process. This is what makes them so special. Our 2005 Suendero, featured in this newsletter, is one such wine. We also strive to make other wines that are very approachable in style and price, wines that are a perfect fit for the daily dinner table. For this reason, we were excited to have two of our wines recently recognized as “Best Buys” by the prestigious Wine Enthusiast magazine, which rated our 2007 Sauvignon Blanc at 90 points and our 2006 Red4 at 89 points. Both scores constitute high praise for wines costing just $14 per bottle. Being acknowledged for both quality and approachability is the best of both worlds for us, and it fits right into our larger philosophy of wine as something to be enjoyed and shared with friends, from the most casual settings to fine dining. This philosophy also guides the spirit of our hospitality center and tasting room. We are always looking for ways to share wine within a larger context of festivity and camaraderie. For example, our inaugural concert series this year was a big hit, and we are already planning a second season to begin in the spring of next year. Our wines have proven to pair quite well with music, great views and warm evenings! We also have many other special events planned for this holiday season and beyond, including a few that support great causes, as detailed inside this newsletter. I hope that you can join us for one or more of them. Wishing you a festive and flavorful holiday season.
