Chloe Sander from Little Friends Learning Center in Peoria won Second Place for her story “The Snowman Who Went Places” as part the Kindergarten Division of WTVP’s 2011 "PBS KIDS GO! Writers Contest. The contest, designed to instill young children with a love of reading and writing, garnered 136 entries from communities as far-flung as Edwardsville and Lombard as well as throughout central Illinois.
