It’s fantastic that there’s a set time of the year when believers throughout the world are able to collectively reflect on the greatest event that has ever happened in the history of mankind - the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Easter remains a very special period in the life of the believer, and this fact is reflected in this month’s edition of Keep The Faith. Rev David Shosanya explores what it means to be black and Christian in a race- sensitive society, whilst author Rachel Brown shares why believers should allow Christ’s gift of the Holy Spirit to reign supreme in their lives. We’ve interviewed Dwayne Tryumf, one of Britain’s most popular gospel artists, who talks about how the Easter message transformed his life so that now he’s spitting lyrics for the Lord. And finally, although we don’t like to admit it, Easter has a dark side for some believers: depression. Rev Wale Hudson-Roberts looks at how the church can support individuals who suffer from this illness. You can also read a commentary about incest, tips for parenting teenagers the Godly way, a thoughtful commentary on what it means to be both a man and a Christian and an inspiring story of Theresa Beckles, a believer who was able to start a business using the skills she learnt whilst doing voluntary work in her church. There’s also a feature about organising a retreat which encourages churches to organise at least one spiritual getaway a year for their members and shows them how. There’s also the regulars; Heart to Heart, Charity Affairs, Cyber Corner, Global News, Gospel News and much more. Enjoy and more importantly have a happy, blessed and reflective Easter.
