YUDU.com has been the destination for hundreds of thousands of people in over 70 countries around the world to enable them to publish and read online for free. Over 1000 publications are published for free on the site every day and over 130,000 people have a YUDU library account where they store content of interest. It gives small publishers and individuals the opportunity to experience some elements of our fantastic professional publishing platform and create their own publications for the web and also enables people to search through and read over half a million publications created by users.

Why we have re-branded and have changed the web address?

The free publishing site is only one service that we offer under the YUDU umbrella. The core element of the business is our cloud publishing platform for professional publishers, which enables web, mobile and tablet publishing (previously known as YUDU Pro). This service is now found on YUDU.com and all other products and services have been re-branded to sit underneath the YUDU.com umbrella, with the core element of our business on the main website. We want to distinguish the free publishing site from our professional cloud publishing platform so that we can continue to attract more users from around the world who wish to read and publish for free, as well as ensure that our main business is easily accessible to professionals looking to publish to web, mobile and tablet.

How will this affect you (and your readers)?

This site, 'YUDU.com', has been rebranded to 'YUDUfree' and moved to free.yudu.com. Your libraries, publications, content, bookmarks and everything else have been automatically redirected to the new site and so YOU WILL NOT NEED TO DO ANYTHING! Anyone clicking on an old URL / web page / edition link will not notice any difference, as they will still arrive at the correct place. The only page that will not automatically redirect to the new web address is the homepage, www.yudu.com - you now must remember to visit http://free.yudu.com, otherwise you will land on our professional cloud publishing site. However, if you do forget, there is clear signposting to send you in YUDUfree's direction!
