Embed a publication

Choose from the basic or advanced options to add/embed a mini version of your digital publication onto another website or blog - simply cut and paste the supplied code.

To embed a publication, click on the actions button on the publication summary page and then click 'embed this item'. Choose from the basic or advanced options described below (as default, the advanced option will be selected). Simply follow the instructions and copy and paste the supplied code into your website (highlight the code with your mouse and click 'CTRL', 'C' to copy and then 'CTRL', 'V' to paste it into the HTML of your website or blog).


Basic publication embedding:

Add an image link to your publication.

This allows you to embed the front cover image of your publication onto your website, which links to the publication. When a visitor clicks the link, your digital publication will open in a new window.


Advanced publication embedding:

Embed your whole publication.

This allows you to embed a smaller version of your whole page-turning digital publication to your website or blog. You can choose the size of the frame that your publication will sit in.

Embed your whole library

Choose from the basic or advanced options to add/embed a mini version of your whole YUDUfree library onto your website or blog, so others can see all (or some) of the publications in your library.

You can add your library, or a smaller version of your library, onto your own website or blog so your site visitors can browse through all the publications in your library, not just one!

Go to your library by clicking on the My library button at the top of the screen, then click the Actions button on the left side of the screen. This will expand to show an 'Embed this library' link. Once clicked, choose from the basic or advanced options described below (as default, this will be set to advanced option).

Simply follow the instructions and copy and paste the supplied code into your website (highlight the code with your mouse and click 'CTRL', 'C' to copy and then 'CTRL', 'V' to paste it into the HTML of your website or blog). Basic library embedding:


Basic library embedding:

Embed an image link to your library.

This allows you to embed a small YUDUfree library image onto another website ("View all the digital documents in my YUDUfree library"), which acts as a simple link to your library.


Advanced library embedding:

Embed a mini version of your library onto another site.

You can make your YUDUfree library available from your website or blog, so everyone can see all your publications without visiting the YUDUfree site. You can tag all the publications you wish to be seen in your embedded library - you don't have to include all of your items. Simply tag all the items you want in your embedded library with a common word, such as 'website1'. This way, you only need to use that one word when selecting the items to be seen in your embedded library. Follow the simple instructions to change the size of your embedded library and add it to your website or blog.
