Bookmarking websites on YUDUfree
A quick guide...
The main function of the YUDUfree website is publishing documents; however, you can also add visual bookmarks to your YUDUfree library to share your favourite websites with the world or simply for your own quick access!
How to publish/upload bookmarks...
You must have your own library to bookmark websites on YUDUfree. Register for free
- Click the large Publish button on the navigation bar at the top of the screen. This will take you to the Publish page.
- On this page, choose the 'Website' button from the options available, which will take you to the Bookmark Upload page.
- Add the URL of the website that you wish to bookmark.
- Type in a title for the website (this will be displayed in the library), select whether you want others to see if or just keep it private for your own use, and click the 'Publish' button.
The bookmark will be automatically added to your library and you will be taken directly to the item summary page to organise and sort it properly, with tags, name, categories and more. More information on organising your library.
YUDU will automatically create a thumbnail image as a visual bookmark, using the website homepage - and will automatically drop this into your library for you to tag, rate and more. You can change the thumbnail to an image of your choice using the 'change thumbnail' button on the item summary page.
